Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has struggled for goals in recent games
The 25-year-old Spaniard missed a glorious chance to give the Blues a 14th-minute lead and fluffed a number of other decent chances, as the Premier League rivals shared the spoils in a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea led 2-1 with six minutes remaining thanks to Marcos Alonso’s neat finish, but they threw away what would have been a huge three points as Hector Bellerin stuck in the third minute of stoppage-time for the Gunners.
It meant much of the post-match analysis focussed on Morata and his profligacy in front of goal.
The £60million summer signing has impressed at times since his arrival from Real Madrid, having scored 13 goals so far this season.

However, he has found the net just five times in his last 19 games for Chelsea and many fans and pundits are questioning if he is good enough.
Conte rued his team’s failure to see out the victory, but feels Morata is just short of luck and is certain he will recover his scoring form soon.
The Blues boss said: “When you are winning 2-1 and there are two minutes to go, I think we have to win the game.
“This is not a lucky period for [Morata]. For the striker it’s very important to score. If you score, your confidence is up.
“In this case your confidence can go down. [But] he’s very young. The goal is coming.”
