The Spanish star could leave at the end of his contract with his place in Jose Mourinho’s team in doubt
Manchester United star Ander Herrera will not extend his contract with the club and will look to leave next summer, according to Calciomercato.
The 29-year-old is into the final year of his current deal at Old Trafford and his future has been thrown into doubt as a result.
Herrera has featured in two of United’s three Premier League matches so far this season but has largely been frozen out under Jose Mourinho.
His indifferent form has led to supporters questioning his selection and now it would appear that his future will finally be resolved.
Herrera will look to leave United next summer once his contract has expired.
A return to Spain looks most likely with former club Athletic Bilbao fronting the queue to try and snap him up.
