The Barcelona forward dribbled half the length of the pitch to put a huge dent in Spurs’ Champions League hopes to the delight of supporters on Twitter
Arsenal target Ousmane Dembele has endeared himself to Gunners fans by threatening to end the Champions League hopes of north London rivals Tottenham.
Dembele scored a wonderful solo goal in the seventh minute of Spurs’ crunch match with Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
The Frenchman picked up the ball on the halfway line, beat Kyle Walker-Peters twice, before cutting inside and slotting the ball past Hugo Lloris.
Spurs must match the result of Inter Milan at home to PSV in order to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, and Dembele’s goal could see them eliminated from the competition.
Arsenal fans took to Twitter to plead with the club to buy Dembele following his ‘Gunners audition’.
