The 49-year-old reality TV star tied the knot with her 32-year-old boyfriend in a Las Vegas ceremony in August of last year, according to court documents.
“Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman is officially a married woman. The 49-year-old reality TV star has secretly tied the knot with her boyfriend Reggie Youngblood months ago, though it’s only now that news of their wedding emerges.
The couple secretly got hitched in a Las Vegas ceremony in August 2018. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the TV personality and the 32-year-old former NFL prospect obtained a marriage license on August 17, 2018 and got married soon after because a marriage certificate was also issued the same day.
Despite starring on the Vh1 reality series, Tami and Reggie had managed to keep their marriage a secret until now. They have not confirmed their secret wedding, but one day before their Las Vegas ceremony, Tami posted a cryptic Instagram message that seemed to hint at her major decision. “The bravest thing I’ve ever done is learn to stand still and let God MOVE,” she wrote along with her black-and-white picture.
Tami and Reggie have been together since 2014. In January 2019, she talked about getting married during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “We’ve talked about it. We’ve kicked it around,” she said. “We’re really good. We’re in a good place and I don’t think we need to put any pressure on ourselves about having that piece of paper and when the moment presents itself, we’ll jump out there and do it.”
Tami was previously married to now-retired basketball player Kenny Anderson from 1994 until 2001. They share two daughters, web-series personality Lyric Anderson and hip-hop artist Jazz Anderson.
Tami will return for the new season of “Basketball Wives”, which will premiere on June 19. Filming is currently underway with other returning cast members, including Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’Neal, Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo, Jennifer Williams and former NBA star Byron Scott‘s girlfriend CeCe Gutierrez.
