Philippe Coutinho is enjoying life at Bayern Munich and says it’s ‘more of a family’ than his previous clubs, Barcelona and Liverpool.
The Brazilian endured a nightmare spell at the Nou Camp having joined for a mega £142million fee from the Premier League giants in January 2018.
The German champions have an option to buy Coutinho for £109.8million following the end of his season-long loan.
The 27-year-old rejected a late move to Tottenham in the summer transfer window, while Liverpool turned down the opportunity to sign their former star again.
Coutinho is now settled in Germany, having made three appearances for Bayern to date.
“The first few days they showed me the facilities, I met my team-mates, the coaches,” he told Sky Sports.
“Every day I feel a little better, I am very happy. Bayern are more of a family than my old clubs.
“I know there’s the atmosphere of Liverpool, but it’s even more of a family here.”
Bayern begin their Champions League campaign against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday night.
