Carlos Tevez has shocked Boca Juniors after reporting for training with an injury he picked up from a prison yard kickabout.

The former Manchester City and West Ham United striker was visiting his half-brother Juan Alberton Martinez at Bouwer’s maximum security prison in Cordoba.

According to Clarin Sports, the Argentine striker joined in the game before leaving the facility, picking up a knock to his calf region.

Martinez was jailed in 2010 for assaulting an armoured vehicle along with his brother-in-law.

Tevez re-joined his boyhood club in January after a disastrous move to China.

While at Shanghai Shenhua, the striker was earning £615,00-a-week and described the move like ‘a holiday’.
