Please don’t hold my past against me.
Yes, I come from New York. But I’ve lived in Cleveland and worked for The Plain Dealer for 34 years, a bit more than half my life. All three of my sons say they hope to stay here, and so do I.
I started in The Plain Dealer’s features department. After 30 years in Metro, I’ve happily gone back to features. I cover the arts, entertainment, lifestyles, recreation, nature, NASA Glenn, human interest and odd things that defy categories. I also write the My Cleveland column, which looks at our town through many different eyes.
I’ve written about the Cleveland Arts Prize, the parks, paternity leave, euphemisms and mud, for starters. Please send me more ideas. I’d also appreciate your taking the 3-minute survey below or at www.surveymonkey.com/r/PDRecAndEnt
