The team behind the popular Humber Street Sesh has revealed plans for a new series of gigs that will rock Hull’s Old Town.

The twelve-week run will take place on Thursday evenings and will feature 34 of the best up and coming bands and performers Hull has to offer.

While the exact location is yet to be revealed, organisers have confirmed the live music will be backed up with street food in the build up to the ever popular Street Sesh itself, which takes place on from Friday, August 2 to Saturday, August 3.

Thousands of people attend the event each summer which grows in size each and every year and organisers will be hoping some of its popularity will rub off on their new Sesh nights.

It was all born out of the live music showcase, The Sesh, which has been running for 17 years at The Polar Bear pub in Spring Bank.
