Former White House National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor and former Obama speechwriter Ben Rhodes launched the stunning tirade while talking on their ‘Pod Save the World’ podcast. The duo compared Ms Trump to the TV villain during their chat. According to Fox News, Mr Vietor accused Ms Trump of using her appearances at the G20 Summit as a stepping stone for her to become the US’ United Nations ambassador.
He said: “I think it’s worse.
“I think that they’re trying to set her up to get nominated as ambassador to the UN.
“That would be my exit strategy if I were her, to get back to New York.”
The pair claimed Ms Trump used the appearance to “jump into photo ops with world leaders” and that she had “no subject matter expertise”.

Mr Vietor said: “And then the French released this painful, painful video of Ivanka trying to jump into a conversation at the G20 with Theresa May, Emmanuel Macron and Christine Lagarde from the IMF and they’re just like, ‘get out of here’.
“And then you have this daughter of the President.
“We’re the most powerful nation in the history of the world at the collection of the most powerful nations in the world today, and that is what’s going on?
“Like that, we have like the daughter of the President just like butting into conversations with these world leaders?
“Clearly Trump is also like bending the rules.
“Jamming his daughter and son in law, who by the way also have all kinds of business interests floating around in these different countries — just jamming them in there. So what?
“So she can have fantasy camp as a diplomat. Like so she can play at secretary — madame secretary or something?”
Ms Trump received major criticism for her attendance at the summit with her father US President Donald Trump.
Taking to Twitter, fans condemned the 37-year-old for her attempt to involve herself in the conversation, which was about social justice.
Some argued that Ms Trump looked out of place, with one writing: “Absurdity at its best.”
Meanwhile, Democrat congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said: “It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification.”
The G20 Osaka summit was the fourteenth meeting of the G20, a forum of 19 countries and the EU that together represent most of the world economy.
It was held on 28 and 29 June 2019 at the International Exhibition Centre in Osaka.
It was the first G20 summit to be hosted by Japan.
