The 19-year-old looks certain to be at the centre of a transfer tug of war in the coming months
Juventus have moved to the front of the queue in the fight to sign Manchester United and Tottenham target Matthijs de Ligt.
Despite being just 19, the Ajax and Netherlands defender is already a regular for both club and country and he looks set for a big move in the near future.
Both Man United and Tottenham have shown interest in the centre-back, who could go for as much as £40million.
But, according to Tuttosport, it is Juventus who are currently leading the race to sign De Ligt next summer.
The club’s hierarchy are said to be in regular contact with the youngster’s representatives and that is keeping them at the front of the chasing pack.
