Antonio Conte believes his team put in everything

However, even though last season’s champions looked second best Antonio Conte felt he could only be proud of his players becaue they put everything into the game.
“For sure there is disappointment for me, for my players and for the result but at the same time we gave everything,” said the Italian manager.
“I must be proud to be the coach of these players because, you can win or lose the game, but when you finish the game and you know your team gave everything you must be happy.”
Conte also declared that the quality of the opposition should be taken into account with Manchester City impressing hugely so far this season.
“In this case you must consider your opponent,” explained the Blues boss.
“I think Manchester City is a really strong team and they were very good last season.
“This season I think they are stronger than last season. When you play this type of game – a massive game – anything can happen.”
