Premier League duo are set to miss out on the Croatian midfielder
Liverpool and Tottenham’s hopes of signing Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic look to have been ended after he agreed a new contract with Inter, according to Tuttosport.
Brozovic, 25, was linked with a move to England during the summer with both the Reds and Spurs reportedly keeping close tabs on him last season.
And after impressing for Croatia at the World Cup in the summer, speculation over his future at the San Siro ramped up even further.
However, Inter were able to resist all offers and now the Italian giants have reached an agreement over a new deal for their star midfielder.
Brozovic has signed a new contract worth £2.8m per season and will remain at the San Siro until 2021.
The midfielder has made nine appearances in all competitions so far this season, notching his first goal of the campaign last month against Sampdoria.
