Kylian Mbpappe played the role of star struck youngster when he met David Beckham.
The Paris Saint-Germain striker posted a picture of himself with the former England and Manchester United star, calling him a “legend” and an “inspiration” on Friday.
“Breakfast with the legend. It was an honour to meet you, you are an inspiration for all of us @davidbeckham.”
The pair met for breakfast in Paris where Beckham got his hands on Mbappe’s World Cup winners medal.
The 20-year-old attacker scored four goals at last summer’s tournament to help France secure victory in Russia and, in his own Instagram post, Beckham, who retired at PSG in 2013, said: “What a huge pleasure to meet a World Cup winner, great player but more importantly a great person.
“I always love being back in Paris, one of my favourite places in the world and it got even better this morning… and I got to hold Kylian’s World Cup medal, my kids might be slightly jealous!!
“Sorry boys !! x Merci mon jeune ami, Paris me manque déjà!!! 🇫🇷 @k.mbappe @psg.”
