Inter Milan are thought to be keen on bringing the striker to Serie A but would need to make a substantially bigger offer
Manchester United have reportedly turned down the chance to sign Ivan Perisic as part of a deal involving Romelu Lukaku.
The Red Devils have been previously linked with a move for the Inter Milan winger while Jose Mourinho was manager.
Last month, Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the Serie A club would offer £30million plus Perisic to try and land Lukaku.
And the Italian newspaper claimed over the weekend that the offer has already been made – but quickly rejected by United.
It is believed Inter would need to bid around £62million to sign the Belgium international.
Lukaku has previously talked up a move to Italy while also falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment as permanent manager.

Everton will net £5million if Manchester United sell the striker this summer due to a clause written in his 2017 transfer to Old Trafford.
The Belgian played second fiddle to Marcus Rashford in the second half of the season and scored just 15 goals in all competitions – 12 fewer than he managed in his debut United campaign.
Perisic has been linked with a move to the Premier League several times over the last 12 months.
He came close to joining Arsenal during the January 2019 window and allegedly even handed in a transfer request to force through a move to the Emirates.
Tottenham have also shown interest in the World Cup finalist.
