The Brazilian has been linked with a monstrous move away from Watford
Richarlison is worth £50million and would be a fantastic addition to the Everton team.
That’s according to former Toffees striker Kevin Campbell, who believes Marco Silva would be able to get the best out of the Brazilian.
The 21-year-old is reportedly close to signing for the club in a deal worth £50million, a fee some critics have scoffed at.
However Campbell believes it could prove to be a smart piece of business.
“Marco Silva knows him and trusts him,” he told the Weekend Sports Breakfast.
“He came in as a 20-year-old and came into Watford and he lit up the first half of the season, he was a complete unknown.
“So to be able to go back in for him and to get him, he’s obviously someone Silva thinks he can really fit him into this Everton team.
“This £50m fee has been bandied about, is he worth it?
“If Watford want that money and Everton are willing to pay to get the new manager a player he wants, then he’s worth the money.
“Richarlison a player who does things at the top end of the pitch and that’s where Everton are lacking.”
So far, new Everton boss Marco Silva is yet to add any new signing to his new side.
However, the signing of a £50million player would send out a signal of real intent from the former Hornets manager.
