Sheridan Smith has postponed her upcoming show at Hull’s Bonus Arena due to “extensive filming commitments”.
Sheridan, who is originally from Epworth, was due to perform at the city centre venue on March 28, as part of a UK tour, but has now postponed all of her shows until later in the year.
In a message to ticket holders, Sheridan said: “I’m so sorry to have to postpone the dates for my planned March UK tour.
“Unfortunately, due to extensive filming commitments, and an overrunning schedule for an already committed film I’m involved in, I need to move my tour dates.
“I know my fans will understand I always want to be able to put on the best show possible, and currently there isn’t time in the schedule to make this happen.

“We’re now looking at doing the tour later in the year and my promoters will be in touch with new dates shortly.
“Thanks as always for your continuing support, it means so much.”
A return date has not yet been set for Bonus Arena.
The 37-year-old recently appeared in ITV drama Cleaning Up, and it was announced she would be portraying Anthony Walgate’s mother in an upcoming BBC drama about Stephen Port, who murdered Hull fashion student Anthony in 2014.
