Sophie Walker – daughter of ex-Three Lions goalie Ian Walker – blames her mental health problems on her dad’s “turbulent” marriage and long absences.
The 18-year-old beauty queen said having a famous parent left her feeling isolated and led to her being diagnosed with a social anxiety disorder, the Surrey Mirror reported.
Sophie, of Cobham in Surrey, said her issues started when she was young.
“It is hard to explain without sounding ungrateful”
The Miss London contestant said: “Everyone at my school would always say how jealous they were about my ‘great life’ and assumed that having a famous parent and a lot of money was a brilliant life – and I won’t lie, I was very lucky to have lived in the houses, been on the holidays, and had the toys etc.

“However, when I was little I would cry and pray to God that I would give it all away to have my dad home and have a normal family.
“It is hard to explain without sounding ungrateful, but I missed him every day.”
Walker, 45 – who also played for Leicester – split from Page 3 wife Suzi after cheating on her with a dancer he met in Las Vegas.
Sophie blamed their marriage and her dad’s “depression” for giving her social anxiety.
